Witney Music Festival Terms & Conditions


1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of tickets and attendance at Witney Music Festival (“WMF”, “the Festival”, “the Event”) operated by Witney Music Festival (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing tickets or attending the Festival, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase tickets or attempt to enter the Festival.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website at https://witneymusicfestival.com and will apply to all future ticket purchases.

Tickets will be delivered as specified during purchase (e.g., email, post, collection). You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.


4. Right of Admission Reserved

4.1 Admission Rights

RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED. We reserve the absolute right to refuse admission to, or remove from the Festival, any person at our sole discretion without refund, including but not limited to:

  • Persons without valid tickets or identification
  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Persons behaving inappropriately or dangerously
  • Persons who have been banned or excluded
  • Persons we reasonably believe pose a risk to safety or security

4.2 Age Restrictions

The Festival has an age restriction of 16+. Attendees under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+). Age verification may be required at entry.

4.3 ID Requirements

Valid photo ID must be presented on request. Acceptable forms include passport, driving licence, or PASS-approved ID card.


5. Anti-Fraud and Security

5.1 Ticket Validity

Only tickets purchased through official channels are valid. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse entry to holders of invalid, counterfeit, or fraudulent tickets
  • Investigate suspected fraud or unauthorised ticket activities
  • Cancel tickets obtained through unauthorised means
  • Take legal action against persons involved in fraudulent activities

5.2 Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Creating, distributing, or using counterfeit tickets or wristbands
  • Reselling tickets above face value without our written consent
  • Transferring tickets through unauthorised channels
  • Using tickets for commercial purposes without permission

5.3 Investigation Rights

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected breach of these Terms. This may include:

  • Requesting additional identification or proof of purchase
  • Conducting interviews with ticket holders
  • Reviewing CCTV footage and other evidence
  • Cooperating with law enforcement agencies

5.4 Consequences of Violations

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the Festival without refund
  • Cancellation of tickets without compensation

  • Referral to law enforcement agencies

6. Banning and Exclusions

6.1 Grounds for Exclusion

We may ban individuals from current and future events for:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent activities
  • Antisocial or dangerous behaviour
  • Criminal activity on Festival premises
  • Any conduct we deem inappropriate

6.2 Exclusion Process

Exclusions may be temporary or permanent at our discretion. Banned individuals will be notified in writing where reasonably practicable.

Banned individuals who attempt to enter Festival premises may be prosecuted for trespass.


7. Refunds and Cancellations

7.1 No Refunds Policy

All ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged, or cancelled except as required by law.

7.2 Event Cancellation

If the Festival is cancelled entirely:

  • We may offer a full refund, partial refund, or reschedule the event
  • Refunds (if offered) will be for face value only, excluding booking fees
  • We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other associated costs

7.3 Event Changes

We reserve the right to change performers, timetables, and other event details without compensation.

7.4 Weather

The Festival proceeds rain or shine. No refunds will be given for weather-related issues.


8. Health, Safety and Conduct

8.1 Personal Safety

You attend at your own risk. We recommend appropriate clothing and footwear for outdoor events.

8.2 Prohibited Items

The following are not permitted:

  • Illegal drugs or substances
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Glass containers
  • Professional recording equipment
  • Items deemed dangerous by security

8.3 Searches

We reserve the right to search persons and belongings as a condition of entry.

9. Photography and Recording

9.1 Our Rights

We may photograph or record attendees for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to such use without compensation.

10. Liability and Insurance

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for:

  • Consequential or indirect losses

10.2 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your actions and any damage you cause. We recommend taking out personal insurance.

12. Intellectual Property

All content related to the Festival, including logos, images, and promotional materials, is our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your attendance at the Festival.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remains in effect.
