Bear Trap are an emerging alt-rock three-piece from Oxfordshire, formed by long-time collaborators Rhys Fletcher, Michael Fletcher and Nick Butler. Blending big, riff-driven energy with the emotional weight of post-hardcore and pop-punk, the band write songs that balance vulnerability with intensity.
Their debut EP Hopeful Pessimist was released in August 2025 and quickly gained attention, with the title track winning Best Rock Track at the 2025 Production Music Awards.
The band have also received radio support from BBC Introducing, Kerrang! Radio’s Fresh Blood, and Amazing Radio Rock & Metal. Still early in their live journey, Bear Trap are bringing a raw, high-impact set to Witney Music Festival as they begin introducing the band to wider audiences.
